To Keep From Drowning is story about transitioning out of despair and hopelessness. It is divided into two parts: Sally and Henry.

Sally, who is facing her own life and death struggle, and yet gives to her three new friends the strength and compassion to open their own hearts, face their own demons, and truly live.
Henry needs to leave his life of wealth and “ease”. Driving without any direction he gets lost in the Nevada desert where he becomes involved in a desperate flight to just stay alive.
This is a heart felt story with many moments where the reader is left in suspense as to what will happen.
